7:00 pm Worship with Imposition of Ashes

WEDNESDAY EVENINGS IN LENT (February 24 – March 24)

6:15 – 7:00 pm  Soup Supper in the Family Center
7:00 – 7:30 pm  Worship – Holden Evening Prayer
7:30 – 8:15 pm Education in the Sanctuary 
 
WORSHIP:  "A Mighty Call and a Fervent Hope:  The Prayer of St. Francis"
 
Join us for Holden Evening Prayer as we examine the power and hope in the
Prayer of St. Francis, for his day and for ours.  Where will our prayers lead us?
 
Feb. 24 - Where there is hatred, let us sow love
March 3 - Forgiveness: Where there is injury, pardon
March 10 - Where there is doubt, faith
March 17 - Where there is despair, hope
March 24 - Healing: Where there is sadness, joy

 
EDUCATION:  "The Monk Who Changed the World"
 
Meet Martin Luther, the German monk who changed the western world. 
For 5 Wednesdays, we will explore this crucial figure who shaped not only Protestantism but was a
major influence for a modernizing Europe and planting the seeds of the European Enlightenment. 
Explore his thought and theology and how it shapes Lutheranism today.

HOLY WEEK:

PALM SUNDAY  - March 28th

8:00 am Service of Holy Communion;
9:00 & 10:30 am Choir Cantata (No Communion).

MAUNDY THURSDAY -  April 1st

11:00 – 11:30 am  Communion service followed by a light lunch at 11:30
7:00 pm Holy Communion Service

GOOD FRIDAY – April 2nd

7:00 pm  Service of Tenebrae

EASTER VIGIL – April 3rd

7:00 pm  A service of shadows, light, sacrament and celebration

EASTER SUNDAY – April 4th  

Holy Communion at 7:30, 9:00 and 10:30 am
Easter Breakfast served in the Family Center from 8:00 am – 12:30 pm
