Bethlehem Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
We invite all women to join in the fellowship of our women’s group. Our focus is to reach out to our congregation, the community and the world; sharing our blessings and God’s love through warm quilts, baby blankets, school bags, pajamas and many other ministries.
Every woman who is a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church is also a member Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Welcome!

The Bethlehem’s Women’s Christmas Bazaar is held the first Sunday in December. The bazaar offers Christmas decor, gifts, craft items, special quilts, and baked goods. The funds raised from the sale of these items are used to financially support the projects of Bethlehem Women including the Women’s Retreat, and the participation of congregation members at the WELCA Triennial conference, the Pacifica Women’s annual conference, etc. Other Bethlehem ministries such as Fair Trade, the PJ Project, SERRV also participate in the bazaar. Bakers, crafters and helpers are needed to make this event a success!

We provide luncheons and refreshments for memorial receptions for members and their immediate families. The “Margaret Fund”, as established by Susan Vittek in memory of her mother, helps to pay the cost of refreshments after memorial services at the church. Please inquire about this service during your arrangement interview with the Pastor.
