Bethlehem Community Preschool
Our NAEYC accredited school offers a balanced program with opportunity for your child to grow as and individual in all areas of development. The first steps away from home are made comfortable, with caring adults who are trained to meet your child's individual needs - in a safe, healthful environment.

We feel children learn best in a low-key, non-pressured environment. Our teachers provide activities that allow for optimum development of a child's IMAGINATION, INITIATIVE and AUTONOMY. We feel these areas of development need to be utilized to the maximum during the years from three to six.

Lunch and Play
We offer a fun-filled afternoon of extended play. Children have an opportunity to stay an extra one or two hours.

Children bring their own lunch and are provided with many different play opportunities. Lunch and Play is $8 per hour or $15 for 2 hours.

Fees

Tuition is paid by the month and is due the first of each month. We do not bill.

An annual non-refundable registration fee of $100, and the first month's tuition, is due prior to enrollment.

When a child is enrolled we assume it is for the entire school year. If he/she must be taken out of school a one month notice is required.

Registration

Priority registration for the following school year begins in January. This is for children already enrolled in the school. On February 1st, we go to our waiting list and mail out postcards to those families who are on the waiting list and have toured the school.

Policy
Bethlehem Community Preschool is a non-profit organization sponsored by the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Our program is open to any child regardless of race, religion or ancestry.
Our program is designed to meet the needs of the preschool age child, therefore children enrolling in the fall sessions need to be three years old on or before December 31 to be eligible for admittance. Each child must be toilet trained and developmentally ready for the group experience to benefit from our program.

Bethlehem Preschool has an artist on staff

Patti McDuffie has taught art in both elementary and preschool settings. She believes that hands-on learning is key at any age. Patti is a Southern California native and her love of the ocean and lagoons is reflected in her paintings. Patti enjoys presenting the Masters to young children.
