Mission of Prayer Shawl Ministry
The mission of the prayer shawl ministry at Bethlehem Lutheran Church is to
share fellowship while creating shawls and scarves for members of our congregation who are facing times of change or challenge.
When completed and given to those in need, these garments are intended to be tangible reminders that the love of God, and
the prayers and compassion of our church family, surround the recipient. The prayer shawl ministry meets one evening
per month, and welcomes all knitters who are interested in contributing to our mission, whether beginner, expert, or anywhere
in between. Meeting details can be found in the church bulletin.
