Our Church council consists of congregation members who, during January each year, are elected to terms for the purpose of guiding and overseeing the operations and budget of our church. They in turn can establish special function committes. Each member is either elected to, or assigned a committee 'chair'  for which, that person provides guidance and coordinates the corresponding member activities along with the business duties of their governing council seat. This council consists of 11 members. Election to the council is open to any Church member who wishes to serve. If you are interested in participating in the next election, please inform any council member for guidance.

You may write to the council with questions or concerns or ideas, using this email blccouncil@blcenc.org .
Your email will be directed to the pertinent 'chair' responsibility, or to the particular council member you address it to in the subject line. The council meets, as a group and discusses church business once a month, so any topic must become a point of discussion on the agenda. The council secretary answers/forwards or introduces your emailed concerns for discussion, as necessary. It could take several weeks for you to receive an individual response when discussion is required, so you should not take it personally if you begin to feel ignored. Councils, of any kind, are a slow going function due mainly to time constraints. Our members needs, however, are always on our mind.
